The Brady Bunch second half of season 5 ratings were affected by CBS New Series the Gunsmoke spinoff  DIRTY SALLY. on Jan 11 1974 .Sally's first ranking was #22 the second episode hit #20. Compared to CALUCCI'S DEPARTMENT which the Bradys were beating for a strong second place. Sally's Rating did begin to drop and The Brady's rating improved. But it did lower their Average from #48 to #56.  Dirty Sally was Canceled in 1974

An article in the Valley News in Van Nuys CA  Mar 1 1974 had a interesting bit of information 
"Perhaps surprisingly the Brady Bunch ran much stronger in New York with a 21.2 rating compared to LA's 13.4. The National Rating was 17.3. Apples Way Debuted Feb 10 and the second episode Feb 17, So the  episode would be either the Feb 8 or Feb 15 episode.

In April 1974 ABC was planning on renewing it for season 6 and moving it to Sunday at 7PM against Walt Disney. I think maybe when ABC found out it was going to be without Robert Reed, they decided to end it. Either way the would have had to recast Oliver if they planned to keep the character. Robbie Rist was already under contract with LUCAS TANNER in April. NBC announced it on the schedule even before the Movie aired in May. Robbie filmed it in Feb 1974

The Brady Brides TV Series was originally planned to be a 2 hour movie, but NBC changed their minds and made it a series. The movie was cut into the first 3 episodes of the series. Later on it was recut back into the 2 hour movie. But the Movie did Not air in 1981

  My first experience with the Muzak at work started in the early 80's with the old style instrumental Muzak, Here is an example of what was Playing in 1981 at my store https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iMX7D33qXVA In 1985 Muzak started Foreground Music One (FM1) Though my store continued with the      Instrumentals. My first experience with Channel FM1 was in March 1993,  they built a new store next to the old store and when that store Opened they had the updated channel. I remember on the opening of the new store the Produce Manager was upset that "Our Radio" was still playing when the store was opened and went to the Office. The Assistant Manager said "The store is open" I laughed and asked when did you every hear a radio station without commercials or annoying DJ'S, and said this si the updated MUZAK. Mood Media Channel FM1 15 HOURS: Feb 19 - 20 2013 and 12 hours Feb 5-6 2013

Click the 2 links to hear the music, I have it set to open to another window. A few things I can gather from the 2 different days 15 hour and 12 hour, plus the      15-16 hour playlist just before the 12 hour block  1- It is not in a Loop that that goes back to the start and plays again in the same order 2- The Songs are not in the Same order 3- Except for 1 song, None of the song repeated during the 15 or 12 hour Set. and with the 12 hour set with the previous 15-16 hours before the recording started (minus 1 Hour and 30 Minutes where the Captures were missing none of the Songs repeated  https://archive.org/details/FM12013Feb19 First is 15 hours of the Mood Media channel FM1 DBS Satellite version That someone recorded off the Internet when they had a link on their website.
