Muzak FM1 Playlist Publix store 1998 - Present
My first experience with the Muzak at work started in the early 80's with the old style instrumental Muzak, Here is an example of what was Playing in 1981 at my store https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iMX7D33qXVA In 1985 Muzak started Foreground Music One (FM1) Though my store continued with the Instrumentals. My first experience with Channel FM1 was in March 1993, they built a new store next to the old store and when that store Opened they had the updated channel. I remember on the opening of the new store the Produce Manager was upset that "Our Radio" was still playing when the store was opened and went to the Office. The Assistant Manager said "The store is open" I laughed and asked when did you every hear a radio station without commercials or annoying DJ'S, and said this si the updated MUZAK.
